The OE Leadership Council, comprised of faculty and administrative leaders with diverse perspectives, partners with the OE staff to advise the program.

The OELC offers guidance by:
• Providing diverse perspectives on UVA services and processes
• Assisting in the identification and prioritization of common improvement needs across the University
• Advising on the relevance and feasibility of scaling local initiatives across schools and units
• Recommending approaches to optimize impact with limited resources 
• Supporting and advancing OE initiatives and programs

The OE Program is a resource to support the Universities priorities, enable core mission, and advance the University’s strategic plan. OE partners with the University, schools, units and individuals to:
• Enhance organizational effectiveness and efficiency
• Improve processes and services to enable core mission - teaching, research and service
• Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation
