The Faculty Annual Reporting system is an online academic tool that increases the ease, effectiveness, and utility of annual reports. A collaborative effort begun in the Curry School by faculty and staff, the tool is built in-house with annual input from University of Virginia faculty.
The system was developed utilizing the following guiding principles:

Fields and rubric developed by faculty members

Focus on continuous improvement

Annual input from faculty to ensures ongoing enhancements

The system has been through multiple years of iterations and improvements
Benefits of the system include easier and more efficient data collection and reporting, information can be easily shared and protected, and the system is mature due to refinement that has already occurred in other schools.
OUTCOMES
The scope of the project included the following:

System overview sessions conducted for Architecture, Batten, McIntire, Data Science, Arts and Sciences, SCPS, and the Brain Institute.

Configuration and implementation of the system in 9 schools

Nearly doubled usage from 700 to 1300 faculty users.
TIMELINE
Fall 2018 - Project Planning and Survey Development
Spring 2019 - Information sessions with interested schools
Summer 2019 - Develop school-specific Faculty Reporting sites, roll out for Fall 2019 reporting cycle.
