In our striving to improve, we overwhelmingly “add” and often overlook the power of “subtraction.” We collect new-and-improved ideas, but don’t prune the outdated ones. Every day, across challenges big and small, we neglect a basic way to make things better: we don’t subtract. Learn how the concept of subtraction thinking can help you find more options and be more effective.

In this session Professor Leidy Klotz from the UVA School of Engineering, will share practical applications from his recent book, Subtract: The Untapped Science of Less.
