The Organizational Excellence Leadership Council is charged to identify efficiency and effectiveness opportunities at UVA.

Outcomes

Identify opportunities that:

  • create systematic, continuous approaches to align resources, processes, systems for effectiveness and efficiency (ongoing, long-term)
  • identify specific efficiency and effectiveness initiatives for near-term implementation, resulting in reallocation of resources to priorities (near-term emphasis on hard dollar savings)

Timeline and Deliverables

  • Nov. - Dec. 2019: Ideation - generate ideas, leverage UVA internal and external sources, consider peer efforts and assess based on directional data available.

  • Jan 2020: Refinement and Evaluation

  • Feb 2020: Submission - OELC submits prioritized ideas to Executive Sponsors

  • TBD: Decide - Executive Sponsors decide next steps and opportunities to pursue

  • TBD: High-level sequenced roadmap for implementation
