Given the various challenges facing colleges and universities and the dynamics at play in the broader higher education landscape, leaders at all levels of higher education should consider ways of engaging in purposeful approaches to strategic planning and priority setting. In this interactive session, Dr. Ralph Gigliotti will describe a model for strategic planning used at Rutgers. Attendees will have an opportunity to reflect on applications and connections to one’s own unit, department, division, or school, along with considerations for leading strategic planning in an effective, inclusive, and values-based manner.
