Forum Aims

  • Provoke a deeper understanding of leader vs leadership development in higher education and the need for change in an evolving post-secondary environment
  • Promote international collaboration in the field of developing leaders and leadership systems in higher education
  • Build stronger connections, share leading practices and learn from others
  • Establish an international community of engaged higher education leadership development practitioners

  • University senior leaders who are interested and committed to fostering a new way forward in higher education leadership
  • Those responsible for creating, expanding or delivering leadership and management development programs and initiatives for administrative and professional staff, as well as faculty, and senior administrators
  • HR, organizational development, and change management professionals from higher education institutions that are interested in furthering the offerings at their institutions around leadership and management development
  • Anyone responsible for training/workshop delivery for faculty and staff

Format

The Forum will enable all attendees to participate, hear from, and share their experiences working in leadership and management development in higher education

The conference will be co-hosted between Carleton University and the University of Sheffield. This Forum is brought to you by their strong partnership as well as relationship with the Network for Change and Continuous innovation in Higher Education (NCC)) and the Leaderful Partnership.
