We are excited to announce Ufirst, the HR Strategic Design Initiative. Ufirst is focused on creating an exceptional HR service experience, putting you and your organization first.  Ufirst spans the University of Virginia, encompassing the Academic Division and the Health System.

The first OE Project Alliance SHOWCASE provided a venue to learn and ask questions about initiatives, network with project leaders, and share feedback. 


December 1, 2015

In addition to the primary project work, the team partners with entities across Grounds to deliver organizational development and design services, such as process mapping, stakeholder engagement, benchmarking, retreat planning, meeting facilitation, and strategic planning.


October 7, 2015

OE and Procurement and Supplier Diversity Services recently completed an eight-week Travel and Expense redesign pilot. Through the pilot, dozens of trips have been booked, and expense reports have been processed using the simplified polices.

The HR Strategic Design Initiative aims to create a long-term strategic vision and high-performing, efficient model for HR to advance the University’s goals and priorities. Project leadership recently announced team leads for the various workstreams.
