Chris' nomination recognizes his leadership of specific improvement efforts and exceptional customer service. His support of a variety of needs related to the HR Strategic Design project has been end-to-end, and above and beyond. Chris is readily available to proactively address project needs, as well as resolve emerging issues--both remotely and in-person--and always with a cheerful attitude. His collaboration with colleagues across grounds was also noticeable as he addressed these IT challenges. And consistently Chris followed-up with customers to ensure completion and satisfaction.
In the President’s Office, his commitment to continuous improvement is demonstrated by the design and implementation of eTracking, an initiative to track incoming mail correspondence and subsequent actions. eTracking has resulted in tangible efficiency and effectiveness gains. This electronic system and process has replaced a manual, paper-driven process; increased access to information; automated the workflow; and improved records retention.
